Facilities

With an investment of over $10 million, Almac's FDA and DEA approved site at Audubon, Pennsylvania, US, has been reconfigured to provide quality led, flexible packaging solutions; supporting high volume marketed products to niche/orphan drug launches. Utilising high-speed equipment for blistering, bottling, walleting and biopharmaceutical labelling/packaging operations, the facility provides cost-effective and reliable product supply solutions to client partners.

Packaging Solutions

Almac's GMP facility offers a range of packaging solutions, from primary packaging of solid oral dosage forms to customised secondary labelling and packaging of sterile biopharmaceutical presentations.

Primary Packaging

Formats include:

• blisters (thermoform and coldform)

• bottles, jars, tubs.

Leveraging its experience, Almac offers bespoke packaging capabilities such as multi-product blistering/packaging, eye-catching pack design and online blister printing (both flexographic and digital).

Secondary Packaging

Supported by an in-house engineering team, secondary packaging formats include:

• blister cards/wallets

• cartons

• dosepacks

• complex kit assembly.

Biopharmaceutical Packaging

With significant experience in processing temperature sensitive products, Almac performs secondary labelling and packaging of a range of biopharmaceutical presentations, including:
