Au naturel — Colorcon releases new range of natural coatings

Colorcon has announced the launch of its new range of natural coatings. The Nutra Natural Advantage coatings have been specifically designed to meet the needs of nutraceutical supplement manufacturers.

The range of formulated film coatings include the brands Nutrafinish, Nutrapure and Nutrateric. Nutrafinish Dietary Supplement Coatings that are specially formulated to offer a choise of non-synthetic or ‘natural’ colour options to meet consumer demands for label-friendly ingredients. Nutrafinish Moisture Protection Coatings are suitable for hygroscopic formulations and have been designed to improve stability and shelf life of the product.

Nutrapure, a certified organic coating for nutritional and dietary supplements, and Nutrateric Nutritional Enteric Coating Systems, which were existing brands, have been integrated into the new range.
