Basildon Chemicals grows UK base

Basildon Chemicals, a subsidiary of KCC Corporation, has recently made large investments in new technology and facilities at its Oxfordshire, UK headquarters.

The new facilities have significantly increased QC capabilities with a new analytical laboratory and a dedicated microbiological laboratory to support product development and testing regimes.

These new facilities "greatly enhance" the services and support available to customers working with KCC Basildon in the food and pharmaceutical industries, the group said.

Basildon’s parent company, KCC Corporation, has a central research institute in Korea and the scientists based there, together with the team in the UK, can now provide a complete technology service, stated the company.

This investment will allow KCC Basildon’s to maintain a commitment to the maintenance of the Kosher, Halal, USP and EP certifications which cover its food and pharmaceutical products.
