c-LEcta develops advanced nuclease product

German biotech company, c-LEcta, has developed an advanced nuclease product, DENARASE, that removes host cell nucleic acid impurities from biological production processes.

c-LEcta manufactures DENARASE using a patent protected production process based on a Bacillus strain and a fermentation medium that does not contain any antibiotics and animal derived products. Additionally, this production process is fully cGMP compliant.

DENARASE cleaves DNA and RNA in an unspecific way and remains stable at room temperature for a long time. Moreover, it is active in commonly used buffers in the presence of both ionic and non-ionic detergents as well as reducing and chaotropic agents.
