Award calls for young researchers

European young researchers of ages up to 35 with an advanced degree can apply for a prestigious award hosted by leading life sciences company, Eppendorf.

The competition, Eppendorf Award for Young European Investigators, acknowledges outstanding contributions to biomedical research in Europe based on methods of molecular biology, including novel analytical concepts.

The prize is a €20,000 award, an invitation to the prize ceremony at the EMBL Advanced Training Centre in Heidelberg, an invitation to visit Eppendorf AG in Hamburg, Germany and coverage of their work by Nature in print, online and podcast.

The winner will be selected by an independent expert committee chaired by Professor Reinhard Jahn (Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen, Germany).

The Eppendorf Award for Young European Investigators was established in 1995 and reflects the past and future of Eppendorf, symbolising the links between the company and the field of biomedicines.
