ChargePoint launches new powder transfer solution

ChargePoint Technology has launched a new single-use multi-site powder transfer solution.

The two additions – the ChargePoint Single Use Passive (SUP) and ChargeBag PE-S with new HiPure ULP7 PE film form a single-use package for the contained and sterile transfer of pharmaceutical powders between manufacturing process steps or even facilities. 

The multi-site solution is created by combining the new ChargePoint SUP, a disposable version of the passive mating half of the ChargePoint split butterfly valve (SBV), and the ChargeBag PE-S single use packaging.

Constructed completely of FDA and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Class VI compliant materials, the SUP is both lightweight and cost effective, delivering containment and sterility assurance whilst eliminating the time and cost associated with cleaning, maintenance and validation. The HiPure ULP7 Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) proprietary film, developed by ChargePoint Technology, is compliance tested to meet the demands of aseptic processing environments.

ChargePoint Technology has also introduced its latest update of its SBV system, Series 3. Featuring a new locking mechanism with intuitive mechanical interlocks, the system aims to reduce the risk of part wear.
