Concept Life Sciences appoint new group business development executive

Knowledge based, science led business, Concept Life Sciences, has appointed Tony Johnson as group business development executive.

He is based at the group’s new science hun which is located on the Listerhills Science Park in Bradford.

Johnson is a chemist by profession and has a master’s degree in analytical chemistry from Loughborough University. He has considerable experience in the pharma industry, including 20 years working with biopharmaceutical company AstraZeneca as a manager of a team of analytical chemists. He has since worked with a range of companies including diagnostics provider Almac Sciences, global contact research organisation Covance and capsule manufacturer, Capsugel.

About the role Johnson said: “I am delighted to be joining the Concept Life Sciences Group and moving back to my roots in business development within an analytical setting. Each of the businesses under the Concept Life Sciences’ group has a strong track record and are well positioned for further development. I look forward to working with the leadership team to support their strategic objectives and to grow the business further.”
