Event: Future of Biomedicine Industry Day

The Future of Biomedicine Industry Day will take place on Thursday 24 September at the Queen Elizabeth Teaching and Learning Centre in Scotland

The Future of Biomedicine Industry Day will hold a morning precision medicine workshop to look at the opportunities and challenges around building collaborations focused on precision medicine and in the afternoon, will focus on promoting opportunities for academia, industry and NHS to work together.

The day will feature speakers, Paul Gray, director of general health & social care and CEO NHS Scotland and Toshio Takiguchi, president and CEO Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation.

There will also be opportunities for partnering and exhibitions as well as tours of the Learning and Teaching Centre and Innovation Floor for Industry.

The Future of Biomedicine Industry Day will be hosted by the University of Glasgow College of medical, veterinary and life sciences and the Scottish Lifesciences Association.
