Food supplement to help diabetic retinopathy makes debut at Expopharm

A supplement that assists in protecting the eye from diabetic retinopathy is being unveiled by Philip Chapper & Company at Expopharm 2017, currently taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany.

RetiCap is a capsule that contains vitamin B1, the flavonoid Rutin, as well as Alpha-lipoic acid. The company reports that these micronutrients are used to stabilise and disrupt any damage caused to the eye by diabetes.

“We understand how essential and delicate our eyes are and offer an extensive range of ophthalmology products to help offer protection against a wide range of conditions,” explained Jonathan Chapper, CEO of Philip Chapper & Company. “We will be at Expopharm once again to find exclusive distributors for our new product ranges, as well as meet our existing suppliers and clients who we have built up robust relationships with over many decades.”

Additionally, the company will be showcasing its supplement Macu-Save, which contains all three carotenoids that enhance the macular pigment and hence improves its protective properties.
