Freeman Technology releases e-books for powder selection

Powder specialist, Freeman Technology has released two e-books offering expert advice on power selection.

The company has revised and updated two of its popular e-books to offer expert advice for customers looking at investing in powder testing technology.

‘Choosing a Powder Tester’ reviews the technology available and has been updated to include recent advancements such as uniaxial powder testing. It covers the majority of testing techniques in routine use including all USP methods. Powder testing can vary significantly in terms of delivering data that is relevant and able to solve problems regularly encountered when dealing with powders.

The e-book includes a brief description of the principles underpinning techniques such as avalanche methods and uniaxial testing. It also details each method’s strengths and limitations, allowing customers to choose a method well-matched to their individual requirements.

‘The Value of Powder Testing’ meanwhile, examines how test data can deliver an economic return and has been updated to include assessment of the benefits of real-time measurement. More so, both e-books are complemented by An Introduction to Powders’, which briefly considers powder behaviour.

Powder testing results can include faster progress in R&D, secure identification of a cheaper raw material, effective troubleshooting of a process problem and a potential higher product quality.

All three e-books are available to download for free.
