Global cooperation gives va-Q-tec thermal containers ‘wings’

A global cooperation between a provider of thermal containers for temperature-controlled transport of pharmaceuticals, va-Q-tec, and Emirates SkyCargo has been announced.

This agreement will enable va-Q-tainer rental services directly through Emirates SkyCargo and will offer door-to-door cold chain shipping solutions to global pharmaceutical and life science customers.

“We are proud to become a partner of Emirates SkyCargo,” said Dominic Hyde, managing director at va-Q-tec. “The cooperation increases the network we can serve with our va-Q-tainer containers and provides our pharmaceutical customers with the temperature controlled shipping solution they ask for on a global basis.”

The va-Q-tainer, transport containers, provide temperature controlled solutions for six temperature ranges from –70 °C to +25 °C in five sizes, taking up to two US pallets inside.
