by

If you are interested in becoming more ecological then head over to Gerresheimer’s stall at Pharmapack where the company is presenting Biopack, its eco-friendly containers for pharmaceutical applications

At the stand Gerresheimer is displaying its Sugarcane based biomaterials that have similar characteristics to conventional plastic and are fully recyclable.

Niels Düring, global executive vice president plastic packaging, Gerresheimer, said: “By using biomaterials our customers contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, thereby protecting the environment and avoiding unnecessary waste. Biomaterials are the renewable alternative to conventional PE/PET.”

Also on display at the stand is Gerresheimer’s
Duma Combi which is tablet packaging with a separate compartment for the patient information leaflet, the company’s syringe system solutions to reduce tungsten residue for highly sensitive pharmaceutical drugs, its parallel mold cooling concept and its second generation pick and place robots.

Interested Pharmapack visitors can find Gerresheimer at Stand 801 and 802 in Hall 5.2, on 10-11 February at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
