Gyros and Fleet agree on support for assay development and transfer services

A partnership agreement has been signed between Gyros Protein Technologies and Fleet Bioprocessing to provide support in assay development and transfer services.

The companies have signed a Certified Assay Transfer & Development Partner agreement, the terms of which will see Fleet provide assay development, transfer and optimisation services for Gyrolab platform users.

“This partnership was established in response to feedback from our customer base for the need to provide support in developing, transferring and optimising assays onto the Gyrolab platform,” stated Mark Vossenaar, VP Sales EMEA, Gyros Protein Technologies. “We felt that an independent third-party specialist was best placed to provide this service, and we are confident we have chosen the ideal partner in Fleet Bioprocessing.”

Alastair Dent, managing director, Fleet Bioprocessing, explained: “We are delighted to be working with Gyros Protein Technologies, and we are already seeing great interest in the new service, with our first project well under way and many more in the pipeline.”

Gyros Protein Technologies, enables peptide synthesis and bioanalytical solutions that help scientists increase biomolecule performance and productivity in research, drug discovery, pre-clinical and clinical development, and bioprocess applications.

Fleet Bioprocessing offers contract development, validation and manufacturing services for the immunoassay sector.
