Interphex ‘Editor’s choice’ won by Nemera

Safelia is an innovative autoinjector for prefilled syringes, available for 1 mL and 2.25 mL sizes and suitable for large volume and high viscosity delivery through thinner needles. Designed to ease patients’ self-injection experience and to deliver the most challenging drugs in subcutaneous or intramuscular layers, Safelia can mechanically tune the injection thanks to design adjustments.

Key benefits of Safelia include — no initial injection peak, adjustable needle insertion speed, automatic needle retraction, no stress on the syringe flange and ability to inject very viscous drugs. Additionally, the autoinjector platforms are customisable, depending on the delivery specification of the formulation, and both IM and SQ designs are available.
