Meissner acquires aseptic filling systems company, PDC

Micro filtration and single-use system specialist, Meissner Filtration Products, has acquired a supplier of advanced aseptic filling systems and sealers to the pharmaceutical industry, PDC Aseptic Filling Systems.

The disposable filling lines from PDC will complement Meissner’s current process solutions portfolio, which includes filtration, single-use systems fluid handling and unit processing offerings. The filling systems enable automated aseptic filling of pharmaceutical process liquids, which is important to drug manufacturing.
