New research showcased at HSRPP

This year’s Health Services Research and Pharmacy Practice Conference (HSRPP), taking place at the University of Nottingham, will showcase new research. Papers presented during the event will be published in the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice (IJPP).

“We are delighted that HSRPP is able to provide a platform for researchers to present their findings but also a forum for discussion on the impact of such work as we look to drive changes in policy and practice,” said Dr Rachel Joynes, trust director at Pharmacy Research UK (PRUK). “Through this year’s conference we are proud to showcase research from all over the world and I look forward to hearing about cutting edge pharmacy and health services research.”

The new research will include a study on medicines management for people with dementia led by Mairead McGrattan at the School of Pharmacy, Queen’s University Belfast, a study on people’s experience of multiple medicines for multimorbidities, which is collaborative work by the University of Nottingham, University of Oxford and University of Manchester, and, finally, a study examining the role of community pharmacists in CVD prevention from researchers at the University of Kingston.
