Pharma gateway launched in Frankfurt

Global healthcare logistics specialist, Yusen Logistics, has announced the launch of a dedicated pharmaceutical gateway in Frankfurt, Germany.

This new operation represents the official launch of the company’s GDP compliant global pharma airfreight services from Germany and is the latest step in the company’s pharmaceutical supply chain development.

Developed in close consultation with customers, this operation links Yusen Logistics' German import/export consolidation centre and European road network, forming a multi-modal hub.

The service is dedicated solely to the stringent requirements of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, with more than 50,000 delivery points in Europe.
