Pharmapack calls for young innovators and new innovations for 2018 event

In a recent press release, Pharmapack Europe 2018 has called for new applications to its Start-up Hub platform and Pharmapack Awards, which will highlight new innovations and young innovators.

The dedicated pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery conference and exhibition will take place on 7–8 February 2018 in Paris, France. The Start-up Hub for the 2018 show will identify young companies as being among the most innovative in the industry. Any companies included in the hub will benefit from increased access to potential customers, partners and investors at the event.

This year’s hub included companies spanning the breadth of the industry, from functional inks that incorporate electronic applications into packaging, to needle-free medicine delivery, to an app that scans packages to provide product information. Next year, start-ups developing patient-centric packaging or drug delivery solutions in line with connected health and anti-counterfeiting measures are encouraged to apply.

Also returning in 2018 are the Pharmapack Awards, consisting of two categories — the Exhibitor Innovation category and the Health Product category. Exhibitors already scheduled to take part in the Innovation Gallery will automatically be entered, however, an entry document will still need to be completed for a chance to win.

Applications for the awards are now open to companies providing new products and will remain open until November. All entries will be assessed by leading industry figures from around the world.
