Pierre Fabre shares nature’s drugs expertise

Pierre Fabre Laboratories is launching Nature Open Library, an Open Innovation programme

Nature Open Library will provide industrial players and projects initiators access to Pierre Fabre’s private plants collection to for the research, development and industrialisation of plant assets.

Through Nature Open Library, Pierre Fabre has said it will help its future partners to boost their innovative process by giving them access to its interdisciplinary teams across its phyto-industrial value chain, including botanists, agronomists, chemists, phyto-chemists and legal specialists on international pharmaceutical standards and regulations.

The Nature Open Library programme is aimed at both project managers from the pharmaceutical industry and other sectors, including nutrition and agribusiness.

Nature Open Library also stands as a tool for Pierre Fabre to share its approach to the development of plant assets to responsible environmental and social plans.

Pierre Fabre said that since 2010 they translated this approach in a process called Botanical Expertise Pierre Fabre. This approach for responsible development of safe and effective innovative botanical active is labeled European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
