Put it in your diary — Interpack 2020 dates have been set

The interpack alliance have announced the dates for the next interpack trade fair, which will be held between 7–13 May 2020 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.

This year’s event attracted 2,865 exhibitors and 170,500 visitors, which was the biggest attendance of the event so far. President of interpack 2017, Friedbert Klefenz, stated: “interpack is an absolute must-go event for companies in this industry and provides unique momentum. Every three years it is not only a one-of-a-kind performance showcase but also the place where suppliers and customers from all over the world get together to network and do business.”

Welcoming visitors and exhibitors in 2020 will be a redesigned South Entrance to the exhibition centre as well as a new Hall 1. This new hall will replace the old Halls 1 and 2 in summer 2019 and will have a capacity of 12,025 square metres, giving the 2020 trade fair an increase in space of 550 square metres. Additionally, a new foyer will be built directly outside with six meeting rooms and direct access to the congress centre.

Running in parallel with interpack 2020 will be component, the suppliers’ trade fair, which will be held at a central location within the exhibition centre.

Companies wanting to exhibit at interpack or components in 2020 can register at the end of the year (earlier than usual). The official closing date for exhibitors will be in spring 2019.
