Romaco Kilian exhibits tablet press upgrades at Powtech

by

Romaco Kilian will present a retrofit package that enables older-generation tablet presses to be upgraded electronically, at the upcoming Powtech exhibition in Nuremberg on 19-21 April

The new retrofit concept was born from the realisation that some of the control and regulating components featured in the Kilian E 150 (Plus), LX, RTS, RX, S 250 (Plus), T 100, T 300, T 400 and TX series are no longer compliant with current standards, according to Romaco.

As part of the new retrofit package an external electrical cabinet and a HMI panel are integrated into existing tablet presses, with the installation and validation performed at the customer’s facility.

The package also enables access to Romaco’s “Remote Assist”, online support system.

Also at the Powtech show, Romaco will be exhibiting its Romaco Kilian KTP 420X tablet press on Hall 3, Stand 3-430.

The company said that the three hallmarks of this machine are cool, fast, clean – “Cool” for the cooling of the process area to below 30°C, “Fast” for the maximum output of 360,000 tablets per hour and “Clean” refers to the optimised hygienic design.
