Sanner looks to the future at Pharmapack

Packaging solutions provider Sanner is celebrating its 125th year anniversary at Pharmapack this year.

The company showcased its portfolio of active and intelligent primary packaging solutions and medtech products at the show.

In particular, Sanner presented its AdPack desiccant sachets, designed for moisture-sensitive pharmaceuticals, and its AdCap capsules which combine the advantages of conventional desiccant capsules and canisters. They make sure that moisture or odours are optimally adsorbed right after filling.

Celebrating the company’s 125th anniversary, Dirk Mähr, CEO of Sanner, said: "We look back on a long company history with pride. But above all, we are looking into the future. Sanner is at the forefront with groundbreaking developments and innovative cooperations.”

Mähr gives the example of the company’s collaboration with digital health start-up Amiko, which saw the two groups develop intelligent inhalation systems for medication adherence in the treatment of respiratory diseases.

Lastly, at Pharmapack, corporate development manager Christian Schierholz spoke about digital solutions for proper treatment adherence during the Pharmapack Learning Lab.
