Smaller outside, bigger inside

Priorclave has developed a benchtop autoclave which, despite being designed for compactness, includes a 50% increase in chamber capacity.

Named the H60 Compact Autoclave, it was reportedly designed to meet a customer ‘wishlist’, which included the requirement for a steam steriliser with the features of the current Priorclave Compact range but considerably larger chamber capacity. The autoclave is now part of the group’s portfolio.

The H60 has a working depth of 625mm and is designed to operate up to 140˚C, 2.4 bar. It is available with a choice of either a single or double heating elements, giving cycle times of 90 or 75 minutes respectively. It also features the Tactrol 2 microprocessor control system with staged illumination, giving digital readouts of cycle status as well as the setting of temperature and time.

In terms of application, the autoclave is suitable for media preparation, laboratory waste, liquids and diluents, glassware, instruments and apparatus.

Designed for bench-mounting, models in the H60 range can be supplied for either manual or auto-water fill and come in a choice of standard or vacuum models. Priorclave is also able to supply a special stand to facilitate mounting adjacent to a working surface.
