Speakers confirmed for meningitis and septicaemia conference

The Meningitis Research Foundation’s 10th international conference will take place on 4–5 November 2015, at the Royal Society of Medicine, London, bringing together internationally renowned experts from the UK and around the world to address the most important issues of the day.

Consistently attracting over 250 delegates from a range of specialties and international institutions, this conference is a key event in the calendar for many of the world’s leading authorities in infectious disease, paediatrics, vaccinology, public health and tropical medicine.

The two days of oral presentations, debates and poster presentations provide a showcase for talent and cutting edge research, as well as an opportunity to network and share opinions.

Researchers and scientists are also being invited to submit a poster abstract to be considered for display at the conference. The Steering Committee will consider abstracts on any form of meningitis, sepsis or associated infections from a scientific or healthcare perspective, including prevention, diagnosis, management, outcome, pathophysiology, epidemiology, health economics, immunology or microbiology.

Participants who would like to present a poster must submit an abstract for consideration by the Steering Committee using the form available on the conference website. The abstracts should be submitted in English. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
