Strategic partnership forms between Taconic Biosciences and Cyagen Biosciences

A strategic partnership has been formed between Taconic Biosciences and Cyagen Biosciences — both global companies that generate custom genetically engineered rodent models and associated services.

Under the terms of the agreement the two companies will combine resources to provide the global scientific community with access to premium custom model design and generation services backed by comprehensive capabilities and cutting-edge, fully-licensed technologies.

Custom animal models have a critical role to play in new drug discovery as they offer the insight of how potential therapeutics and a living organism work together.
