Three-in-one rotary jet mixer

Alfa Laval's rotary jet mixer is said to handle liquid and powder mixing, gas and powder dispersion and tank cleaning-in-place, whilst reducing time, energy and costs.

In a number of applications the Alfa Laval rotary jet mixer is able to provide faster and more efficient mixing when compared with conventional methods. It aims to achieve high blending precision within short mixing times and has been known to offer up to 50% reduction in energy requirements. 

Equipped with two or four nozzles, the rotary jet mixer is positioned below liquid level in the tank. Liquid is withdrawn from the tank outlet by a pump and circulated via an external loop to the mixer. This helps reduce operating expenses while achieving fast and efficient mixing.

The rotary jet mixer can be used in tanks between 100 and 800,000 l in size.
