Tris Pharma chooses Adents’ software for serialisation

Tris Pharma has chosen software from Adents to guarantee compliance with upcoming US serialisation deadlines.

For this new partnership, Tris Pharma has designated a centralised serialisation room servicing packaging lines as well as rework stations. The dedicated serialisation suite will provide track and trace solutions for customers such as Pfizer, Vernalis and Breckenridge, and contains a Pineberry Flat Carton Mark & Verify unit for cartons and a mark & verify labeller from Weiler Labeling Systems. Both machines will use laser marking, DataLase coatings and Cognex smart cameras for inspection.

The upcoming milestone, in November this year, will require pharmaceutical manufacturers to print a unique product identification code on all Rx units of sale and homogenous cases distributed domestically.
