Webinar on good distribution practices to be held this month

The International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council (IPEC) Europe has announced it will be holding a webinar on ‘Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceutical Excipients’ on 22 June at 14:30 central European summer time.

This webinar comes after the federation revised its guide for good distribution practices for pharmaceutical excipients, which brought it inline with the GDP requirements. It will highlight how the guide can assist in ensuring good practices when moving starting materials through the supply chain.

To be hosted by Allan Whiston of QA Resolutions, the webinar will allow participants to hear practical examples of how to apply current approaches to GDP, learn where risk assessment can be used to establish effective control of processes, use the guide to cross reference to WHO, understand the importance of positive communication between user and supplier and learn what regulatory agencies have been focussing on during inspections. Additionally, participants will be able to join in a live session at the end of the webinar.

The registration fee to participate in the webinar is €50 (excluding VAT) for members of IPEC Europe.
