Zenith experiences growth due to demand for technology

Global life sciences technology firm, Zenith Technologies, has expanded its workforce in response to the increase in demand for its manufacturing execution system (MES) and automation technology.

The firm has 16 offices in global locations and has recruited 100 people over the last year alone to meet rising demand in the pharma sector for its products. Additionally, the company is investing in the future by taking on 30 graduates across various locations worldwide.

“Recruiting skilled and experienced staff is important for the future of our business and the growing adoption of technology in the life sciences space also demands engineers to ensure effective implementation and support solutions,” commented Shea Fahy, HR director at Zenith. “We’re proud that our one-year graduate programme addresses the engineering skills gap head on, supporting the talent of the future.”

During the one-year programme, graduates will receive a two-week induction, followed by a six-week mentoring session from Zenith’s experienced engineers. This process will enable the graduates to learn from others experiences how to identify customer challenges and then to select the most appropriate solutions to meet those challenges.

“We have worked hard to build up a reputation as a trusted technology partner in the life sciences sector. Our employees have the opportunity to work with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, with a structured approach to continued learning and development to enhance their engineering skillset,” Fahy continued. “We are incredibly proud of the growth we have been able to achieve. We will continue to strengthen our ability to support our customers and by the end of this year, we expect to have doubled our headcount from 2014.”
