Silicones launched for pharma

Vensil Pharma is a new silicone which has been specifically developed for the pharma sector, following two years of R&D from Venair, a specialist in silicone hoses.

Venair’s technical lab specified a set of certifications, called a ‘Validation Package’, which includes the results of multiple tests done in external laboratories.

The group presented the product at Chicago’s PMMI Pack Expo this week, as well as the new Vena MF/MF-L, which it claims is the first conformable silicone hose in the market able to maintain its shape under extreme operating conditions.
