Fistreem International Ltd, formerly part of the Sanyo Gallenkamp organization manufacture industry leading ultrapure laboratory Water Stills under the internationally recognized Fistreem brand.
In addition we are continuing the manufacture of the popular Gallenkamp Vacuum Oven under our own Fistreem brand.
The microprocessor controlled Cyclon Still employs a unique cyclonic action steam vapour trap ensuring the very highest biologically pure pyrogen free distilled water. Other important features include auto reservoir control, auto controlled cooling water, automatic cleaning program, quartz sheathed heating elements, dual safety systems, thermistor control, pre-treated feed option, matching storage reservoir and pre-deioniser.
Cyclon Stills are offered in outputs of 4 & 8 lt/hr and 4 lt/hr double ( bi- ) distilled. A smart cabinet with acrylic cover may be bench or wall mounted.
The Calypso Still employs the same glassware features but is more of a ‘hands on ‘ Still and is offered in outputs of 2 & 4 lt/hr. Heating is by quartz sheathed elements other features include easy cleaning, thermal safety cut-out, auto reservoir control, boiler drain facility, treated feed option and matching collection reservoir. A smart cabinet with acrylic cover may be bench or wall mounted.
Vacuum Oven. The Fistreem brand laboratory Vacuum Oven is an upgraded version of the popular Gallenkamp Vacuum Oven which we continue to manufacture. The oven is now fitted with a digital PID electronic controller. The generous 31 lt size oven is suitable for solvent removal under atmospheric or reduced atmosphere. The robust light alloy casting has three shelf positions and a large size viewing window allows inspection of samples. By using reduced pressure the oven enables heat sensitive materials to be dried under low temperatures. In addition more stable samples may be dried more rapidly at higher temperatures without fan circulation.
Temperatures up to 200C may be achieved via the easy to use electronic controller which has an independent over temperature safety circuit to protect samples from overheating.
