Astech Projects Demonstrates Picker Robot

Robotics and automation supplier Astech Projects is exhibiting its latest pharmaceutical technology services within the P-MEC product zone of CPhI Worldwide. Visitors from over 140 countries attend P-MEC Europe and its co-located events, creating an environment where delegates can meet, network and share ideas with each other.

Astech specialises in the custom design, build and systems integration of robotics and automation applications for advanced manufacturing and regulated industries, including pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer healthcare, petro-chemical and chemical.

During the three-day event, titled Mix with the world of pharma, products, people and solutions, Astech will be demonstrating the Staubli TP80 high speed picker cell, to demonstrate a fast, flexible and effective pick and place system. The TP80 is particularly well-suited for packaging applications in various fields such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices and cosmetics. It will perform sequential picking, placing and dispensing of small medical bottles throughout the show. Visitors to the Astech stand will have the chance to win a 7” Kindle Fire HD tablet by taking part in our business card entry competition.
