Cloud-based labelling system launches for improved efficiency

Global developer of label design software, NiceLabel, has launched a cloud label management system, developed to allow businesses to digitally transform their factory and warehouse labelling process.

The software-as-a-service (SaaS), Label Cloud, allows pharmaceutical companies and other businesses to centrally manage label design, product data and quality control, with branches, suppliers and partners able to access that information in the cloud and print their own labels locally.

The cloud-based software is designed to deliver cost savings as there’s no need for any investment into IT infrastructure. It’s also been designed for ease of use which means IT is no longer needed for design and deployment of labels and increased agility and faster time to market.

The quality assurance process is digitised, eliminating manual quality control processes, reducing labour requirements and costs, and minimising risk and error.

“The labelling software market hasn’t changed much in the last decade, but with the launch of Label Cloud, we’re transforming the industry, moving it forward significantly. We’re providing a way to simplify the process, an easy way to scale up, and bring maximum benefit to businesses of all sizes,” explains Ken Moir, VP marketing, NiceLabel.

“Label Cloud empowers all users to design and deploy labels. Ultimately this means the process is smoother and quicker, which leads to improved agility and faster time to market. In addition, Label Cloud’s document management system streamlines, automates and improves the quality assurance process, removing human error, risk and improving its overall accuracy,” Moir added.
