Fancy a TIP-Pill? – Daily unit of wine now in tablet form

With recent findings suggesting that a glass of wine a day can protect a person’s heart against disease, a UK pharma group has come up with a handy solution – TIP-Pill.

The company, Pharma International Science Tech Ltd. (PIST) believes the new drug could provide the same benefits to heart health as a real glass of wine, without the undesirable side effects.

The TIP-Pill should be taken at meal times to get the best effect.

Its creator Professor Mal Bec, a leading scientist at the University of Bordeaux said: “The TIP-Pill is designed to fill a gap in the market for those consumers who wish to achieve the therapeutic heart health benefits of a glass of wine but who don’t necessarily enjoy the taste.”

It’s also known that certain beers can have beneficial effects on the digestive system. Professor Bec said that this will be the target for phase two of the PIST business plan.

“This is very exciting, and we’re also looking at adding in flavours for those that want them. Potential additions to the brand could include red, white and rosé.”

“We’re hoping that TIP-Pill will be suitable for wine connoisseurs across the globe”.
