Fette Compacting, a member of the LMT Group, is presenting FEC40, its first capsule filling machine at Interphex 2016

This machine enables users to produce up to 400,000 capsules an hour and the company said that in the years to come, it hopes to establish capsule filling technology as a new division.

Olaf Müller, CEO LMT Group and division president Fette Compacting, said: "We have formulated unambiguous growth targets for the Group and for Fette Compacting.

“Fette Compacting will be developing our leading position in the area of tableting technology while simultaneously tapping new areas of business.

“For us, capsule filling technology is a segment in which we wish to get involved and grow over the long term. This step has been considered carefully as we know the customers and their requirements on efficient production of solids."

"Tableting tools represent one of the decisive keys for efficiency and quality in tablet production. As the requirements on production gain in complexity, perfect interplay between machines and tools is also increasingly important.

“Business which has to date been heavily characterised by third-party suppliers will increasingly shift into focus on account of growing requirements. And we will expand our range accordingly."
