Sunala, part of the Travtec Group, has recruited Karen Sims as Sales Co-ordinator. In her new role, Sims will be responsible for all Sunala’s sales and marketing activities throughout the UK and Ireland, focusing on developing new business opportunities and supporting and enhancing existing customer relationships as part of the company’s ongoing development strategy.
Sims has extensive experience across a wide range of disciplines, including customer service, marketing, new business development, IT systems, manufacturing and production management and logistics. Many of these skills were established through a variety of roles during a 20-year career with Beiersdorf UK, previously Smith & Nephew Consumer Products, which has also provided her with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
